How RAVE.PH works

An index of Philippine rave culture — events, artists, venues, collectives and a community board. Anyone can browse; members can support, submit and post.

Getting around

  • Events — upcoming and past nights, by date, city and genre.
  • Artists / Venues / Collectives — the people and places. Each has its own page with a bio, links and history.
  • Radar — the community-supported leaderboards: artists, venues, events, and ravers.
  • Community — the forum. Start a thread or reply on anything.
  • Stories — longer reads and features.
  • Search — the magnifier, top of every page. Plain words work — try “techno gigs in Cebu”.
  • Member profiles live at raveph.com/@yourhandle.

Accounts & roles

  • Sign up with email or Google. You get a random rave handle — you can rename it once, any time, from your account.
  • Pick a lane on the way in: Raver, Artist / DJ, or Organizer. It only sets your starting point — nothing is locked.
  • Artists & organizers can claim their page. Once it’s yours you edit the bio, photo, links and mixes yourself.

Points & the verified check

Every member has a points score. Here’s how it grows:

Support an artist, venue or event+1 each
Someone supports your Community post or reply+1 each
Start a Community thread+3
Submit an event that gets approved (organizers)+10
Claim your artist profile (artists)+10
  • You get 3 supports per category (artists / venues / events). These reset at the end of each year — the points you earned from them stay.
  • The verified check is automatic: artists get it on claiming their page; ravers and organizers get it at 25 points. Admins can also grant it manually. It can be removed for abuse.
  • Points have no cash value and may be adjusted if we find manipulation.

Submitting an event

  • Members only. Fill the form at /submit — an editor reviews it, usually within a day. After a few approved events you become trusted and skip the queue.
  • City: just the city or area (“Makati”, not “Makati City” — we trim it).
  • Lineup: comma-separated. Known names get linked; new ones get a page that the artist can later claim.
  • Flyer: portrait or square, JPEG / PNG / WebP, under 5 MB. It becomes the card and share image.
  • Event details are community-sourced — check with the organizer before you travel.

Community rules

  • Be decent. No harassment, hate, threats, or posting someone’s private info.
  • No spam, no ads, no reselling / ticket touting.
  • Keep threads on topic and in the right category.
  • Ravers can start 2 threads per day.
  • Admins may pin, lock or remove threads. Editors review event submissions before they go live.
  • Impersonating an artist, collective or venue is not allowed and will get the account removed.
